Nairobi-based photographer and content creator Faustine Babatalisha, popularly known as Baba Talisha, has issued a strong warning to online bullies.
In a social media post, he expressed heartbreak over adults who find "comfort in trolling innocent kids online".
The post, which was shared on his Instagram page, featured a picture of his young daughter Talishain a white dress. It was a direct address to those who hide behind screens to direct cruelty at children.

A Heartfelt Plea to Adults
Baba Talisha's message extends beyond his own child. He stated that he has seen online bullying happen to many children whose parents have shared their journey online.
“To online bullies. It breaks my heart to see grown people find comfort in trolling innocent kids online. I’ve seen it happen not just to my child, but to many children whose parents have shared their kids’ journey online.”
“Children are pure souls who deserve love, protection, and kindness not cruelty from adults hiding behind screens,” Baba Talisha posted.

He challenged adults to reflect on their actions before typing hurtful comments.
"Before you type hurtful words, pause and think: would you want your own child to be spoken to that way?"

This question was a call for empathy. It asked bullies to consider the lasting impact their words can have.
The Scars of Words
The content creator also highlighted the long-term effects of online cruelty. He stated that the "scars of words can last longer than we think".
“Let’s learn to build children up instead of tearing them down, because the scars of words can last longer than we think.”
Another social media post related to this issue highlighted a specific instance of bullying. A comment on the video read, "this is bad ate mtu anatoa nguvu ya kuita mtoto kama huyu iyo jina shame on you...na vyenye talisha n mremba ❤️ Style up too @faustine_babatalisha".

Baba Talisha’s message ended with a simple call to action. He urged people to build children up instead of tearing them down. He reminded his followers that life is unpredictable. No one knows what tomorrow holds for them or their loved ones.
“What many forget is that life is unpredictable no one knows what tomorrow holds for them, their children, or their loved ones.”
