Popular Kenyan comedian Lawrence Macharia, well known as Terrence Creative, and his wife Milly Chebby have bought a brand new Range Rover L494.
This luxury car costs between 6 million and 10 million Kenyan shillings.
“This Is the Doing of the Lord”
Terrence shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of Milly standing next to their new car. His caption was full of gratitude and faith:
“This is the doing of the Lord. God’s timing is the best, don’t you ever give up. Siku ya Mungu ipo!!!”
(Translation: “God’s day will come!”)
From Bus Stops to Luxury Cars
In another message, Terrence shared a photo of a place that has a lot of meaning to them. It showed him and his wife at a bus stage in Pangani called Marigoini, also known as Kwa Mandizi. He explained that they used to wait for a bus there to go to church or work.
He wrote:
“He has done it for us, my dear God, I thank you and all the glory and credit goes to you Lord. Mimi nipungue wewe uzidi kuongezeka.” meaning, “May I decrease so that You may increase.”

Previous Car Milestone
This is not their first big car purchase. A few years ago, the couple bought a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
At that time, Terrence shared that it was his dream car and he was happy that they had achieved it through dedication and prayers.
Terrence once said, “God answers. Believe it and you will achieve it.”
Milly also added, “If there is one thing I ever dreamt of, it was driving a keyless car.” She also told Mpasho that the car was also bought as a response to trolls who had dissed the smaller car (kadudu) she had been gifted by Terence in the past.
Still Dreaming Bigger
In an interview earlier this year with journalist Kalondu Musyimi, Terrence revealed his next dream:
“One day, I want to own a Lexus LX 570.”
