Content creator Wanjey, real name Stella Walda, has shared how she met her husband, Baba Talisha, and how she handles life in the spotlight — including her role as stepmother to Baby Talisha.
How They Met
In a Q&A with her Instagram followers, Wanjey revealed that she met Baba Talisha after the tragic passing of his first wife, Milka, in a road accident along the Thika Superhighway in August 2020.
“Once upon a time, I had an event called Sunday Hangout. The rest is history,” Wanjey said, on how she met Baba Talisha
Baba Talisha has previously addressed speculation about their relationship, confirming that they met after Milka’s death, not while he was still married.

Life After Loss
Milka left behind a young daughter, Baby Talisha, who was recently diagnosed with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 2
ADHD – Combined Type
Dyslexia
Baba Talisha regularly posts tributes to Milka on social media. When asked how she feels about these public messages, Wanjey responded with grace:
“That’s Talisha’s mum, and she will always be part of who they are.
I am Talisha’s bonus mum, and she deserves both of us.”

Baba Talisha’s Continued Loyalty to Milka
Earlier this month, Baba Talisha posted a touching tribute to Milka on Instagram. In it, he explained why he continues to honour her memory.
“Love doesn’t end at death, and neither does respect,” he wrote.
As a Luhya man, he shared that family traditions and doing things the right way are deeply important to him — values that still guide him today.
