In a surprising turn of events, popular Kenyan actor Tyler Kamau Mbaya, widely known as Baha from the beloved Machachari series, has openly discussed how a challenging chapter in his life — the leaking of his private videos — has paradoxically bolstered his self-confidence in public and professional spaces.

Speaking on a recent podcast with Prince Newton, Mbaya offered a candid reflection on how what might have been a source of lasting shame has instead become a catalyst for an "unmatched" sense of self-assurance.

Baha, who rose to fame as a child star, has navigated the often-turbulent waters of public scrutiny throughout his acting career.

The actor’s journey took an unexpected personal twist when private videos involving him surfaced online a few months ago, leading to widespread discussion and speculation.

Fast forward to his recent podcast appearance, Baha’s perspective has remarkably shifted. He articulated a profound transformation in his outlook.

"Bro, let me tell you, nowadays when I walk in public I’m like, ‘What, you mean even Mama Mboga had seen my nakedness?’ This comes with some unmatched self-confidence that I’ve gathered nowadays,” Mbaya said.

“Walking in a boardroom and I’m like I no longer care whoever saw it,” Mbaya added.

Despite this robust newfound confidence, Mbaya acknowledged one single point of future consideration: his daughter.

He candidly shared, "The leaked video doesn’t bother me, the only point that it does is I know that in future I'm I'm gonna have a conversation with my kid.

She’s going to come and ask him," referring to the inevitable discussion he will have with his daughter Astra, whom he got with Georgina Njenga.

While he is personally at peace with his past, he is aware of the need to address it responsibly when his daughter comes of age.
