[PHOTOS] Teargas as protests gain momentum in Nairobi CBD

Protests have erupted in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) as protests gain momentum.

Police lobbed tear gas at demonstrators who had started gathering in the CBD.

Protesters are chanting, “Bado Mapambano! Mapambano!”

"Wakenya msilale, bado mapambano! Wakenya msilale, bado mapambano!"

Kenyans were walking to the CBD as vehicles were barred from accessing the city.
