Comedian-cum-content creator Oga Obinna has hinted at a possible fallout between his management and Arbantone artist Stoopid Boy.
Obinna, who has been at the forefront of restoring Stoopid Boy back to his blossoming musical life, including taking him to a rehabilitation center, which he finished successfully, seems now to have changed his early plans of helping the artist.
The Shifting Landscape of Partnership Obinna directly addressed the nature of their working relationship, clarifying that Stoopid Boy is "not signed under Obinna TV studios".

He further elaborated, acknowledging, "We are not working as closely as we wanted to". While Obinna did not fully disclose the specific reasons for this change in proximity, he hinted that the full story might emerge later.
“He is so talented and he's going places, and he just needs a lot of support and mentorship from all of us collectively. We are not working as closely as we wanted to because maybe when he gets time, he will talk about it. Maybe later I will talk about it,” Obinna hinted at a possible crack in their close partnership.
This transparent communication from Obinna came as many fans were sending him videos and asking about the "plan" for Stoopid Boy.
In a coy response, Obinna said that his early plan about Stoopid Boy might not be executed as planned for what he termed as a lot is going on.”
“I just thought I should put it out there because a lot of people are sending me videos and telling me, 'Hey, what was the plan?' All right, mambo ni mengi. But we keep pushing. But let's see how it goes," he stated.

On May 21, 2025, Obinna led other fellow content creators to get Stoopid Boy out of rehab after completing a 3-month session.
Speaking to bloggers, Obinna outlined how he wanted to help the Arbantone artiste in a bid to make sure he doesn’t get back to Embakasi’s Gotta City, where alcohol almost ruined his music career.
“The plan is simple: we are going to support Stoopid through his journey, and then we are also going to restructure his career. For the next 3 months, he is going to move in with Munez [Obinna’s bodyguard] and Omosh.”
“The reason why we are doing this is that someone needs to monitor him daily. He is going to start gym sessions, and then he is also going to join a media institute so that he can learn skills in video production, editing, graphic design, and others so that he gets something to do,” Obinna revealed.
