Tanzanian singer and WCB Signee Zuhura Othman Soud, alias Zuchu, has made changes to her name after her secret wedding to Diamond Platnumz.
The Sukari hitmaker has updated her social media profiles to reflect her new title “Mrs Nasibu” and clear indicators that she is married to Nasibu Abdul Juma alias Diamond Platnumz.
The changes come days after Diamond made it public that he is now a married man, having officiated his relationship with Zuchu with a traditional Muslim wedding.
The wedding is said to have happened about four months ago, but the couple opted to keep things private until recently.
At the same time, an undated video of Zuchu bragging about her marriage to Diamond also surfaced online.
In the said video, Zuchu could be heard saying, “My husband, we are married,”.
The Marriage
On June 1st, Diamond reflected on his growth, stating he’s learned to stay silent despite false narratives, a maturity he credits to divine wisdom.
He hinted at a past marriage, writing, “I know everyone has their own ideas about me and marriage, but I’ll tell you more when the time is right.”
This ambiguity left fans divided, with some believing the wedding was genuine and others speculating it could be a promotional tactic.
Mama Dangote confirmed the news, posting, “Alhamdulillah, it went well. Congratulations, my son Naseeb and your wife Zuhura.”
Diamond’s sister Esma echoed the sentiment, congratulating the couple.
The ceremony featured Diamond placing his hand on Zuchu’s head, symbolising acceptance, and a joyful Zuchu declaring, “We are married!” in a car ride video.
Their relationship, which began in 2021, has been turbulent, marked by a public breakup in November 2024 and reconciliation attempts.
Earlier in 2025, Diamond announced plans to marry Zuchu before Ramadan, but delays and his flirtations with others, including at Juma Jux’s wedding, fueled doubts.
