How to apply for new generation number plate

The new generation vehicle registration plates launched in August 2022, are designed to be more secure and reflective than their predecessors.

They incorporate microchip technology, anti-counterfeit features, and a FE-Schrift font, making them harder to tamper with and easier to track.

These plates also include an imprinted Kenyan flag, hologram, watermark, and a serial number linked to the vehicle's chassis number.
