In a dazzling celebration marking her second birthday, Africanah, the beloved daughter of celebrity couple Amber Ray and Kennedy Rapudo, has officially stepped into the limelight as a brand ambassador for Teddy Lux Closet.
The momentous occasion, which saw Africana turn two years old, was filled with joy and reflection on her rapid journey into public life.

Amber Ray, known for her distinctive style, shared her connection to dressing her daughter saying she just wants her to be her, in an original version.
"For me, Africanah like you see the way I dress her and all. I see myself in her like those I wish like I’m that I see my little self in her. That’s why I dress her the way I dress her.".
She expressed her happiness about the new role, confirming, "And I’m happy today she got the ambassadorship for Teddy Lux closet".
Kennedy Rapudo echoed this optimism, predicting a bright future for the brand and revealing that Amber has inclined their daughter more into fashion and stuff.
"I’m very sure Teddy Lux closet is going to be one of the biggest things in the country as long as Africanah is the one who is the brand ambassador I can foresee very good things".
Despite initially wanting a boy, Amber Ray expressed profound gratitude for having Africana, affectionately calling her "my little best friend". Africana's strong and captivating personality has been a consistent highlight for her parents.
Kennedy noted, "One thing I can pick is the fact that she has a very strong personality", adding with a chuckle that "she’s stubborn just like the mother".
Amber further admired her daughter's outspoken nature, stating, "She’s outspoken. That is one thing I admire about her. Like me Africanah will tell you what she wants".
The couple also playfully acknowledges her "super dramatic" side and praises her discerning character, with Amber proudly declaring, "I’m proud of her because she knows when to leave the table when disrespect is served". In just one year, Africanah has blossomed into "a brand, a big brand".
Africana’s parents are committed to fostering her individuality rather than conforming her to expectations.
Kennedy articulated their unique parenting philosophy: "We’ve always said that we want Africanah to be Africanah. We are just following her path. She’s the one who paves her way, but we’re just there to support her. We don’t try to mold her, to change her character or behaviors. We just let her be who she is, retain her personality, and our work is just to make sure that we groom her towards where she’s headed."
They affirm that even if Africanah decides in the future to be a musician, so be it. If she wants to be a painter, so be it.

Kennedy expressed, "I’m very happy for all Kenyans who’ve shown love to Africanah and these are people who’ve supported her and they always admire her and we are so happy."
Amber added, "We’ll keep on raising her the way uh the way we have to raise her and keep on supporting her. So, thank you so much for the love you’ve shown to our daughter. Yes, we are very grateful."
