Renowned DJ and TV personality, Pierra Makena, is set to offer the world an unprecedented look into her life as she joins the cast of the new reality show, "The Mommy Club Nairobi".
Speaking at the official launch event of The Mommy Club Nairobi, where she was one of the featured cast members, Makena expressed immense excitement about the opportunity.
"I've always wanted to be in a reality show," she stated, emphasizing her desire for "a good show for that matter".

For Makena, "The Mommy Club Nairobi" is more than just entertainment; it's "a deep show" where she feels "able to express myself". She looks forward to connecting with her fans and contributing to their growth through the series.
In an exclusive interview with Mpasho during the launch, Makena highlighted the stark contrast between acting roles she has previously played and the raw nature of reality television. Unlike scripted shows, "this one, there is no script," she explained.
Reality TV means they "just film your life, your daily life, what you're doing, the stress you're going through, the happiness, the good times, the hard times".
She candidly admitted the challenge involved, stating, "You have to strip yourself, like to the camera all the time. It's not easy".
Reflecting on the production experience, Makena shared her Favorite aspects. She lauded the production team, describing them as "amazing". The crew was notably "very accommodating, very professional," qualities she rarely finds.
This positive experience with the crew significantly contributed to her happiness working on the show. Beyond the technical side, she cherished "creating new friends" among the cast, particularly the chance to interact with "moms who are going through a similar thing like you're going through".

As a mother, a key aspect of her life is her daughter. Makena's daughter is also part of the reality series. She revealed that accommodating her during filming wasn't easy, but again praised the crew's professionalism. They were careful to schedule filming when it was convenient for her daughter, ensuring it didn't interrupt school or homework time.
Regarding the much-discussed topic of her private life, especially concerning her daughter's father, Makena offered a glimpse into the show's potential revelations.
While the interviewer hinted at viewers being surprised and that "there is so much that will surprise you there", Makena spoke more broadly about the nature of her private life being exposed.
She openly acknowledged her life is "very private", and she tries to lead it that way.
“The reality show is kind of ripping me off, that," she admitted. “As a result, people will get to see a lot of things that I don't talk about and I don't show the world so much.”
This exposure is scary for her, and she feels like she is exposing herself too much.
However, she remains hopeful, saying, "let's see how it goes".
Pierra Makena is ready for the public to see her reality. She urged viewers to tune into "Mommy's Club" every Friday, promising they will get to know so much about her and things that she doesn't want you to know, but whoops, it's already out there.
Describing the show as "exciting," "fun," and "our reality", Makena's journey promises to be a candid exploration of balancing fame, motherhood, and personal struggles in the spotlight.
