Kenyan music star Stevo Simple Boy recently offered fans a tasty peek into his world beyond the microphone during a Quickfire interview with Mpasho.
Known for his catchy tunes and distinctive style, Stevo candidly shared some personal details, from what fills his plate to what fills his playlists, and even his aspirations on the road.
When the conversation turned to food, Stevo didn't shy away from revealing his culinary loves and dislikes.
Asked about his absolute favourite meal, "Which food do you like the most?”, his response was immediate and classic: "Chapati and beans".

On the flip side, everyone has something they'd rather avoid. Queried about what food he dislikes, "Which food don't you like much?”, Stevo was just as quick with his answer: "Nguruwe", confirming that pork isn't on his menu.
While he enjoys eating, cooking isn't his main passion. Asked if he likes to cook, Simple Boy’s honestly replied, "Not much." However, he did reveal what he makes on the rare occasions he steps into the kitchen.
When asked what he cooks, he replied that he likes preparing ugali as its recipe is cheap and easier to prepare.
Shifting gears from the kitchen to the road, the interviewer probed Stevo's automotive dreams. What car does the artist picture himself cruising in one day? When asked about his dream car, "Dream car yako?", Stevo's answer was straightforward: a "Pajero".
Finally, with a catalog of popular songs to his name, the interview touched on which of his tracks holds a special place for him.
Asked to name his favourite Simple Boy song, "Of all my songs, I like them, but mostly I like Makasisi".
He even shared a line from the track, reciting, "Nikuje na ngapi? Au mademu wangapi? Mke wangu aliendekesha sijamuona tena. Nasikia anateseka hana cha kumega ila sipomuona tena mlaze mahali pema".
