President William Ruto on Wednesday presided over the 22nd Annual National Prayer Breakfast.

The gathering witnessed the attendance of elected leaders from across the political divides and senior government officials.

Also in attendance was Deputy President Kithure Kindiki.

The annual event is organised by Parliament, with National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula and his Senate counterpart Amason Kingi being co-hosts.

Themed 'Rise and Rebuild', the event was initially scheduled for Thursday.
