City fashion designer, Bolo Bespoke’s wife, Mueni has opened up for the first time about her age, days after rumors surfaced online that she has been hiding her real age.

In a chat session with YouTuber Trudy Kitui, Mueni showed no signs of being swayed by the chatter surrounding her real age, saying that she has far more important things to deal with than the issue of her real age.

Mueni said that she cannot be swayed by people’s opinions about her age, even if they claim that she is 100 years old.

“I have nothing to tell them, my mother, who gave birth to me, is the only one who can verify my real age to them if they want. You cannot keep telling people what they don’t want to hear. Let everyone have their own opinion on what they want.”

Mueni insisted that she’ll be turning 31 at the end of August this year.

“If you want to think I’m 51 years old, well and good, if you wanna think I’m 100 years old, well, and if you want to think I’m 16 or 20 years old, well and good. But for me, my age is mine and I know I’m turning 31 years on 31st August,” Mueni said.

The topic about her real age popped up on social media when her husband, Bolo, discussed her birthday plans during an interview a few days ago on Dr Ofweneke's podcast.

Bolo revealed that his wife is about to turn 31 and explained how he will celebrate her, but netizens took to social media to discuss the age issue.

However, in her interview, Mueni emphasized that she is approaching 31 years old and explained why her birthday this year has greater meaning to her life than previous birthdays.

“I’ll do a major unveiling during my 31st birthday. It’s not easy to be 31. People die at 29 years or even far below 20 years, but for me, God has given me the grace to just stay in this world, revolving around the world 31 times. For that alone, I’m grateful and I must do a major unveiling,” Mueni said.

“30 years comes with a challenge, it’s not the age of confusion or being unsure of what you want to do. When you reach 30, you have to be sure of what you want, and 31 years is the age of now confirming that whatever you decided at 30 you can be able to achieve it at 31. That’s exactly what I’m doing, I’m stamping,” Mueni added with finality.
