Diana Marua Opens Up On Bahati’s New Look After Losing PSG Vs. Arsenal Bet

YouTuber Diana Marua has spoken out about her husband, Bahati Kioko's new look, after he claimed to have shaved off his 10-year-old dreadlocks to honor a promise he made to football fans.

Last week, Bahati surprised his fans by uploading a photo of himself completely shaved off his signature dreadlocks, saying he did so to honor a promise he made if Arsenal lost to PSG.

However, some were not satisfied with the look, accusing him of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and possibly Photoshop to edit his image to make it look like he had shaved.

They wanted him to make a video showing if he had actually shaved, so they would believe him, but Bahati has only been posting a series of photos showing his new appearance with no dreadlocks.

Now, his wife, Diana Marua, has taken over the issue, and she addressed it in detail, hinting that the 'Mama' artist may not have actually shaved.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho’s Kalondu Musyimi, Diana Marua joked that she’s also wondering and asking the same question as their fans on whether Bahati really shaved or it's just a photo manipulation stunt to deceive fans.

"I told him to stop supporting the small team, and he refused. Look what he’s done now, he's gone and shaved his hair. But his appearance gives everyone a glimpse of how he might look shaved, and probably he’s shaved, or probably he didn’t, but I don't know, let's wait and see," Diana Marua joked.

Diana said that the question of whether he did shave or not is more of a rhetorical question and urged fans to exercise their patience.

"But the picture he posted, do you think he shaved or not?" Diana Marua asked fans while refusing to explain how her children reacted to seeing their father without hair.

It is safe to say that all of their children have never seen Bahati without his signature dreadlocks in their lives, and Diana refused to discuss their reactions, saying that it will be in her next vlog.

Arsenal were drawn against PSG on Wednesday last week in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final, a game they lost 3-1 on aggregate.

Bahati, a die-hard Arsenal fan, had vowed to shave off his dreadlocks if PSG beat Arsenal, and the match ended 2-1 in favor of the hosts, PSG.
