Other counties with notable cases include Homa Bay and Kwale (10 each), Busia, Mombasa, and Siaya (6 each).

Kisumu, Turkana, Kajiado, Meru, Migori, and West Pokot recorded fewer cases, ranging from 2 to 5 patients.

The increase from 77 cases in 2023 to 97 in 2024 highlights the need for intensified public health efforts.

Awareness campaigns, improved healthcare access, and early diagnosis are crucial in tackling leprosy and preventing its further spread across Kenyan counties.
