Karua’s Liberation Party

Karua rebranded the party at an event attended by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa, and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Karua said there is a need for unity of purpose to ensure prosperity and for elected leaders to prioritize service delivery.

President William Ruto embarked on a weeklong tour of the coastal counties, marking his first visit to the region in seven months.
The tour, which began on Friday, February 21, saw the President traverse six coastal counties to launch new projects and commission completed ones.
Ruto said that it is the Kenya Kwanza administration that will transform the Coast region.
The president said the region has been left behind for many years.
He went on to say that the region has also been despised, neglected, and discriminated against over the years and this will not be the case under his tenure.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen on Wednesday met Chief Justice Martha Koome where the two held discussions on how they would collaborate in strengthening the security of the judiciary and judicial officers.
CS Murkomen said other discussions centered around partnerships on the implementation of traffic reforms which are meant to enhance safety and security on roads and decongest the courts cases.
