The President said the envoys were in the country to discuss the escalating situation in the Eastern DRC.
The delegation was led by MP and former Deputy Prime Minister Lambert Mende.
Others were President Tshisekedi's High Representative Sambu Mambu, Public Works Minister Alexis Gisaro and Trade Minister Julien Paluku.

He recalled Köhler's pivotal visits across the African continent, where he met with leaders at both national and community levels, emblematic of his belief in the strength of partnerships between Germany and Africa.

The meeting, held at a Nairobi hotel, was also attended by DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa, signalling the possible formation of a new political coalition.
This was the first formal discussion between the three leaders as they explored ways to strengthen their political engagement and unveil a fresh alliance ahead of the next general elections.

Schools in Baringo County are seeing a surge in enrollment as peace and security improve in the North Rift region.
Learners who had abandoned their studies due to banditry are returning, thanks to enhanced security efforts by a multi-agency team and the renovation of schools by KDF.
The renovations were part of Operation Maliza Uhalifu (OMU).
KDF commenced the reconstruction of schools vandalised by bandits in November 2023.


KQ’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft
Kenya Airways flags off new Boeing 737-800 aircraftKenya Airways (KQ) unveiled its newly acquired Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The 170-seater aircraft leased from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAB) now increases the number of aircraft under the ownership of KQ to 35.
The addition, KQ CEO Allan Kilavuka said, strengthens the airline’s ability to provide enhanced connectivity, increased capacity and world-class service across its expanding network.
