In 2024, Australia surpassed Germany and Saudi Arabia as the fastest-growing source of diaspora remittances, as dollar inflows from Kenyans abroad rebounded after a two-year slowdown.

Kenyans in Australia sent home $184.13 million, marking a jump of 72.57 per cent.
