Kenya faced the highest US import tariffs among prominent economies in 2022, with an average rate of 15.83 per cent, according to Yahoo Finance.

India and Argentina followed at 14.26 per cent and 14.11 per cent, respectively.

Other affected countries included Brazil (12.38 per cent), South Korea (11.06 per cent), and South Africa (7.32 per cent).

China, Mexico, Indonesia, and Vietnam also experienced significant tariffs, ranging from 6.54 per cent to 3.71 per cent.
