Counties rated best in trade and tourism performance

According to an Infotrak survey released on February 11, 2025, Murang’a and Homa Bay counties emerged as the top-rated counties in trade and tourism performance for 2024, each scoring 51 per cent. 

Kirinyaga, Nyeri, and Kisumu followed closely, each scoring 47%.

Mombasa ranked slightly lower at 46 per cent, alongside Kiambu, Trans Nzoia, and Kisii.

The ranking highlights the counties’ efforts in boosting economic growth through trade and tourism.
