President William Ruto is received by his deputy Kithure Kindiki when he landed in Wajir ahead of development of the county on February 5, 2025/PCS

President William Ruto has arrived in Wajir for the start of his day-long working tour of the county.

Ruto who is accompanied by his deputy Kithure Kindiki and some Cabinet Secretaries is in the North Eastern region for a series of development activities until Friday.

He commenced the tour Tuesday in Mandera where he inspected and commissioned some projects and also addressed residents.

The Head of State also had a leaders' meeting on Tuesday evening.

He is set to tour Isiolo on Thursday.
