A section of MPs when they arrived in Nakuru for the planned retreat on January 29, 2025/NA

Members of Parliament have arrived in Naivasha, Nakuru for the planned mid-term retreat which officially commencedTuesday.

The meeting will be opened by Speaker Moses Wetang'ula.

During the retreat, the lawmakers will take stock of the progress made by the House during the First, Second and Third Sessions as well as share experiences and challenges faced and chart the way forward.

The retreat which will run until Friday this week will also see members extensively deliberate on marshalling of House Business, matters relating to their welfare, as well as their role in the integration of the East African Community (EAC).

Further, members will consider the proposed Legislative agenda of the House, key Bills and Business expected during the Fourth Session.
