Ugandan star Jose Chameleone's condition has allegedly worsened.

According to the report shared by an admin of his social media pages, the musician's condition was allegedly critical.

The post, which was later deleted, detailed how the musician needed prayers from his fans.

The admin of his page asked netizens to remain strong and keep the singer in their prayers. "We wish to extend our appreciation to all of Jose Chameleone's fans for the prayers and well wishes for him at this time as he's hospitalised in critical condition. Our prayers will be heard. Let's keep strong. We also thank Nakasero Hospital for doing their best professionally," part of the message read.

They also warned people planning to visit the musician and create content that they would not be allowed to see him. Only true fans and his close friends would get access.

"We also would like to inform some individuals that this is not a show where you come for sake - You won't be granted access because of your selfish interests in this time. We are only expecting friends and fans of Joseph! Prayers from good people are worth much more than the devil's wish. Get well soon, Joseph," the message ended.

This information comes hours after he was hospitalised. He was seen escorted into a hospital on a stretcher, showing signs of physical deterioration.

This alleged report comes a few days after the singer's family had released an official statement concerning his condition.

An official statement from his management details that Jose is receiving the best medical care and attention, and they are optimistic about his recovery.

The official confirmation comes hours after clips went viral showing Chameleone being taken to hospital while in critical condition.

"To all the Leone Island Music Empire fans and well-wishers, we understand that the news of Jose Chameleone's hospitalization may have caused concern and worry. We want to assure you that Chameleone is receiving the best medical care and attention, and we are optimistic about his recovery," the statement about Jose Chameleone read.

"We appreciate the outpouring of love, support, and prayers from fans and fellow artists. Your messages mean a lot to Chameleone and his family during this time."

The statement went on to request privacy amid Jose’s hospitalization.

"We kindly request that you respect Chameleone's privacy and that of his family as they navigate this challenging period. We will keep you updated on his condition and appreciate your continued support and prayers.

"Let's come together to send love, positive vibes, and prayers to our beloved Chameleone. We are confident that he will bounce back stronger and continue to entertain and inspire us with his music. #GetWellChameleone #PrayersForChameleone" Admin," the statement said.

This incident reignited concerns about the singer’s health, which has been a topic of worry since 2023 when he was bedridden for weeks due to an undisclosed illness.

In May, Chameleone's elder brother, Humphrey Mayanja, sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer.

The musician shared a snap of his brother with crying emojis, leaving fans to speculate as some consoled him in his comment section.

His family had just transferred him from the States so he could receive medical care near his home and among his people.
