Miano to unveil ministry’s strategic plan

Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano will preside over the launch of the Ministry’s Strategic Plan [2023-2027].

She will also unveil the Ministry’s “Youth in Tourism and Conservation Initiative”.

The event will take place at KICC from 10 am.

UNESCO education forum

Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba is scheduled to open the UNESCO forum on higher education.

The forum, organised in partnership with the African Union and the government of Kenya, will bring together UNESCO experts as well as global and regional leaders, including African Ministers of higher education, to address these challenges and highlight UNESCO’s contributions to unleashing the potential of Higher Education systems in Africa.

It will be held at the Safari Park Hotel.

Human Rights summit

Chief Justice Martha Koome will preside over the opening ceremony of the Annual Human Rights Summit 2024.

It is themed: Upholding human rights in a changing Kenya.

The event is set for Safari Park Hotel starting at 8.30am.

Launch of joint mobility programme

The United Nations in collaboration with the government of Kenya and various partners will be launching a USD 28.5 million Joint Programme (JP) on Migration, Mobility and Regional Integration.

It will be held at Raddison Blue, Upper Hill.
