Sources within the assembly have revealed that MPs who have diverged from Ruto’s camp, particularly those who opposed or hesitated during the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, may face a “bloodbath.”
This impending purge is expected
to benefit allies of opposition leader Raila Odinga, who are poised
to take control of several strategic committees crucial to implementing Ruto’s legacy plans.
