President William Ruto has joined other world leaders in congratulating Donald Trump for winning the US Election against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States. He will be only the second man in history to serve two non-consecutive terms as president.
Here he is at 78 years old, facing many scandals throughout his
career, multiple court cases (criminal and civil), a conviction, sentencing in
three weeks, and escaping death by a fraction of an assassination bullet.
And
here he is, having persuaded what appears to be the majority of Americans to
send him back to Washington and into the White House.
The postmortem is already underway in some Democratic Party circles, even though the outcome has not yet been formally announced.
