Esther Musila and Hubby Guardian Angel

Esther Musila has revealed that, at the age of 26, she quit her job in the bank to become a stay-at-home mother.

The businesswoman and cum singer said this during a podcast with her daughter, Gilda Naibei.

"The reason why I decided to be a stay-at-home mother is because you (Her first two kids) started going to school and one was going the opposite direction from the other. My phobia of having my kids being driven to school by somebody else brought fear in me."

Adding;

"I decided to leave work. My boss was scared because I was 26. At 26 where are you going? I decided to sacrifice my career for a period and that was more fulfilling because I dropped each one of you and came back for you. I was involved."

She then got her third child. She said in this generation, it is possible to work from home and be a present mother compared to the 90s when one had to choose one.

Naibei gave her mother her flowers to sacrifice her career. "If I had to have a child and I had to sacrifice my career, that's a very big decision. You did that with faith in God, knowing you can pick up later."

She added, "These are things that I sit back and realize that our mothers made such big sacrifices."

Musila said she was worried about her daughter's generation "I don't rush you, I don't say now you are 30 please get a man. I don't think you have the patience to stay with a man, even sit down, see how to build a relationship.'

Naibei said 'Men are scary; when I look at you, I want to see red flags; I don't know if that's healthy. I need to know what's wrong with you so that I can know if I will put up with you."

Musila advised her daughter to see the positives first before the negatives.
