TikTok couple Baba and Mama Jimmy recently celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary and took fans along on their special day filled with memorable activities.
Their celebration began with a cruise, generously gifted by a friend who wished to remain anonymous.
While on the cruise, Baba Jimmy surprised Mama Jimmy with a beautiful ring, and the couple reaffirmed their vows to continue loving and caring for each other.
They later shared videos of their buffet lunch before enjoying a live music performance.
In the evening, Baba Jimmy treated Mama Jimmy to 'Nyama Choma' for supper, explaining that steak is her favorite meal.
"That’s her favorite meal," he said.
Mama Jimmy added, “I used to love cheeseburgers, but now my appetite is all about steak.”
The couple described this anniversary as particularly special.
"We've not been together for the last two anniversaries. It always happens that I'm in the U.S. and Mama Jimmy is in Kenya, so we haven’t celebrated for two years. This makes it so special," Baba Jimmy shared.
Mama Jimmy praised her husband for the thoughtful gift of the ring, saying, “I was so happy and surprised. May God bless you.”
Baba Jimmy expressed his gratitude for Mama Jimmy's companionship, stating, “It is not easy. I wanted a Christian woman because I am a Christian. Not many would accept the life you are living with me.”
He also reflected on their journey together, noting, “When we got married, we started with very little. If Mama Jimmy wanted to marry a Mzungu with money, she wouldn’t have chosen me. God has lifted us up as we've built our lives together.”
Mama Jimmy stressed the importance of starting from humble beginnings: “You can start from the bottom and build things together. Nowadays, people want to marry for money. I’ve learned that as long as you are at peace, that’s what matters most, and true peace comes from God.”
