Nigerian singer star Ayra Starr performed her album 'The Year I Turned 21' over the weekend at her first ever YouTube concert in Nairobi.
The event which was live streamed on YouTube also saw some of Ayra Starr's fans watch her doing her magic live in an invites-only ceremony.
Starr said she was excited to share that moment with her Kenyan fans and fans globally. She also performed some fans favourite songs among them Rush, Last Heartbreak Song, Sability, Bloody Samaritan and many others.
Speaking about the event, she said “Performing live is where I get to connect deeply with my fans, and I’m so excited to do this on a global scale from Nairobi. This album means so much to me, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with everyone through YouTube.”
Ayra Starr is a grammy-nominated African music artist under Mavin Records.
