Activist Morara Kebaso and former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu will today know whether they will be charged over cyber harassment and offensive conduct charges respectively.
Magistrate Lucas Onyina is to deliver a ruling today after their legal team is opposed to them taking plea saying the charges are defective.
The two were released in Sh50,000 cash bail and Sh50,000 bond respectively.
Earlier this week, Waititu told the court that the charge doesn't disclose the specific offence related to the allegations levelled against him.
According to the charge sheet, it is alleged that Waititu on September 29 at around 1600hrs in Kiambu County at Ruriru stadium used abusive words saying..."I said, I said, even if we are cheated, I swear to God again, I swear to God, truly speaking to God, Dogs are many more than we think."
However, his legal team said the charges violated Waititu's right to freedom of expression and speech.
Separately the High Court is expected to deliver a judgement in a matter where Court of Appeal judge Aggrey Muchelule and five others are demanding an apology and compensation after allegedly being denied their jobs during Uhuru's regime.
The six judges were rejected by the former president but were to be appointed when Ruto came into office.
They sued the state seeking to have it compelled to publicly admit no evidence justified their disqualification.
They are Muchelule, Weldon Korir, Joel Ngugi, and George Odunga, who are judges of the appellate court, and Evans Makoti, together with Judy Omange, who are judges of the environment and land court.
