Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali, popularly known as Moha Jicho Pevu, has celebrated 15 years of marriage with his wife, Rukiya Noordin.

The former investigative journalist marked the milestone on Thursday, October 29, sharing a rare romantic photo of himself and his wife on Instagram.

The picture offered followers a glimpse into the couple’s private life, as they strolled hand-in-hand through what appeared to be the Dubai Miracle Garden.

Moha accompanied the photograph with a heartfelt message celebrating their marriage and expressing his continued affection for his wife.

In the Instagram post, the politician described his wife as his queen while reflecting on their 15 years together.

“Happy 15th Anniversary, My Queen. 15 years of love, forever to go. I’d choose you every time,” he wrote.

In the photograph, Moha wore a maroon polo shirt paired with white trousers, while Rukiya was dressed in a black buibui and niqab.

The couple were captured walking beneath a heart-shaped arch decorated with colourful flowers.

The post attracted congratulatory messages from followers, with many celebrating the couple’s milestone.

Moha Jicho Pevu keeps family life private

Moha is known for keeping his family away from the public spotlight despite his high-profile career in journalism and politics.

He is married to Rukiya Noordin, and the couple have children together, although he rarely shares pictures of them on his social media platforms.

His latest anniversary post was therefore a rare glimpse into his relationship, particularly because his wife generally maintains a low public profile.

Before venturing into politics, Moha established himself as an investigative journalist through his work at KTN, where he anchored the popular Jicho Pevu investigative series alongside journalist John-Allan Namu.

He later joined politics and was elected Nyali MP in 2017, winning a second term in the 2022 General Election.

The 15th anniversary celebration comes years after he publicly marked their 11th wedding anniversary in October 2022, when he also shared a photo of his wife and affectionately referred to her as his “American Ninja”.

His latest message suggests that despite the demands of public life, the politician continues to celebrate his marriage and appreciate his wife publicly.
