Kenya has challenged African countries to exchange experiences on education financing, compare approaches and adapt successful innovations to their local contexts. Opening the 2026 GPE KIX Africa Research Symposium in Nairobi, Basic Education PS John Ololtua urged delegates from over 40 countries to strengthen collaboration among education and finance ministries, legislatures, research institutions and development partners. He also called for investment in national research capacity and strong public institutions to sustain progress.
