American R&B star Ne-Yo has landed in Kenya ahead of his highly anticipated return to Nairobi for a Mashujaa Day concert, 11 years after his last performance in the country.
The singer touched down at the JKIA on Monday evening and is scheduled to headline One Night Only: Brunch Edition at Ulinzi Sports Complex on Tuesday, October 20, where fans will be hoping to hear some of his biggest hits.

Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, is known for popular R&B tracks including So Sick, Because of You, Miss Independent and Closer.
His return comes more than a decade after he performed in Nairobi during the third season of Coke Studio Africa.

However, the singer arrives with a new musical chapter, having released Highway 79, a project that offers a different perspective on the artist widely associated with contemporary R&B.
It remains unclear whether the Nairobi audience will get to hear songs from the latest project during Tuesday's performance.

For fans who have followed his career through songs about love and relationships, the concert presents an opportunity to revisit the music that made him a household name while discovering a different side of his artistry.
Tickets are currently listed on https://cms.ticketyetu.com/r/Zft, with Gold going for Sh15,000, the Gold Couple or Friends package at Sh20,000 and Platinum for Sh40,000.
Ne-Yo's arrival sets the stage for his first Nairobi performance in 11 years, with the Mashujaa Day concert expected to bring his Kenyan fans together for an evening of music and nostalgia.
