Premier League Trophy arrives in Kenya ahead of Nairobi, Kisumu tour

The Premier League Trophy has arrived in Kenya ahead of a two-city tour that will give football fans in Kisumu and Nairobi an opportunity to see the silverware in person.

The trophy will be displayed in Kisumu on Friday, October 16, and Nairobi on Saturday, October 17, during events organised by Guinness, the Official Beer of the Premier League.

The events will feature fan interactions and live screenings of Premier League matches at Dondez and Berlin Lounge in Kisumu, followed by activities at 1824 and Kettle House in Nairobi.

Guinness Brand Manager Joy Murugi said the tour was intended to recognise Kenyan fans' support for the competition.

“We remain committed to offering our consumers premium football experiences. The presence of the trophy at the Guinness Matchday serves not just to elevate the experience but to recognise the standing of Kenya’s football fans in the support of the Premier League,” Murugi said.

The Premier League has a global audience, reaching viewers in 920 million homes across 189 countries, according to figures provided by the competition.

The Kenyan tour offers local supporters an opportunity to see the trophy associated with the league, which features some of the world’s leading football clubs and attracts audiences across international markets.

The trophy’s arrival comes as the competition’s 2026/27 season continues, with supporters following their clubs through televised matches and other platforms.
