KNH has issued a seven-day notice for families and members of the public to identify and collect unclaimed bodies held at its Farewell Home. KNH says the notice is issued under the Public Health Act and Public Health Mortuaries Rules. Those with information on the identity of the deceased or their relatives have been urged to come forward within the notice period.The hospital warns that failure to collect the bodies will lead to a court application for authority to dispose of them.The notice comes after Nairobi County also issued a similar call over unclaimed bodies at Mama Lucy Kibaki Funeral Home.
