Police in Kasarani have arrested two suspects accused of snatching a mobile phone from a member of the public during an operation in Clay City, Sunton and Hunters areas. The suspects were intercepted shortly after the alleged theft and attempted to escape, leading to a brief chase before officers caught up with them. A search recovered the stolen mobile phone and crude weapons believed to have been in the suspects’ possession. The two suspects are being held at a police station pending arraignment in court, while the recovered phone and weapons have been preserved as exhibits. Police have urged members of the public to remain vigilant and continue sharing information on suspected criminal activities.
