President William Ruto has accused the former Uhuru Kenyatta administration of frustrating foreign investors. Speaking during a joint media interview, Ruto cited billionaire Aliko Dangote’s plans to establish a cement factory in Kitui, which he said were frustrated by the previous administration, prompting him to move his plans to another country. Ruto said the government has secured a new cement investor for Kitui, with plans to establish the industry set for next month.
