The government plans to issue 500,000 title deeds in the Coast region by December, surpassing the estimated 400,000 titles issued annually across the entire country. Lands Principal Secretary Nixon Korir said 300,000 title deeds are currently being processed for issuance in the region, with a further 200,000 expected to be issued before December. The initiative is aimed at addressing long-standing land ownership challenges in the Coast region.
