The JKIA Law Courts have allowed the DCI to detain 14 suspects for five days as investigators probe alleged money laundering and obtaining money by false pretences. The suspects were arrested on September 1 following an operation at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Investigators also raided a Nairobi Industrial Area warehouse and recovered exhibits. The court authorised forensic examination of seized mobile phones for financial records, communications and other evidence.
