President William Ruto has called for a new approach to Africa’s development, urging partnerships centered on investment, value addition and shared prosperity rather than financial aid and extraction. Speaking in New York at the ECAM Council, Ruto said Kenya is open to investments that create jobs, transfer technology, build skills and strengthen African institutions. He stressed the need for partnerships that deliver long-term economic opportunities and sustainable development across the continent.
