Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has begun implementing his mandate to unite and reconcile the people of Mt Kenya, following directives from regional elders at Kirigiti Stadium on Saturday. In a statement, Kindiki has also urged residents to respect the elders and desist from insulting or dismissing them as conmen, warning that such actions could bring curses. He said unity in Mt Kenya would contribute to national unity and accelerate development across the country.
