First Lady Rachel Ruto has praised the Lalla Asmaa Foundation in Morocco for helping children with hearing disabilities. During her visit to the Foundation’s Centre for Hearing Diagnosis and Rehabilitation in Rabat, Rachel said specialised care and early intervention can transform the lives of children. She also visited Kenyan children receiving cochlear implants at Mohammed VI International University Hospital. Rachel said she was pleased with their recovery and thanked Princess Lalla Asmaa for supporting their treatment and giving the children a chance to hear and communicate.
