All eyes are on the court today as former Migori Governor Zachary Okoth Obado, his former personal assistant Michael Juma Oyamo and former county clerk Casper Ojwang Obiero are set to be sentenced for the murder of 26-year-old Rongo University student Sharon. Obado was convicted In July of orchestrating Sharon’s abduction on September 3, 2018, when she and journalist Barrack Oduor were bundled into a vehicle in Rongo. Oduor escaped, but the heavily pregnant Sharon was later found dead near Kodera Forest with multiple stab wounds.
