Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has praised the Nairobi police commander for providing security during the Linda Mwananchi rally in Nairobi last Sunday. Speaking earlier today, Sifuna said the professional handling of security was a confidence-building gesture that would encourage even vulnerable members of society to participate in politics. He also criticized the NCIC for failing to take firm action against individuals accused of hate speech, incitement and violence during the Linda Mwananchi rally in Homa Bay.
