The NCIC has called for young people to be treated as partners in promoting peace rather than being used to fuel political violence. NCIC CEO Daniel Mutegi Giti says the youth should not be recruited as goons during political campaigns. He urged stakeholders to engage young people meaningfully in promoting national cohesion and peaceful elections ahead of the 2027 General Election.
