President William Ruto’s five-day development tour of the Luo Nyanza region enters its second day today where he is expected to assess a number of multi-billion-shilling projects initiated by his administration while also seeking to consolidate his political support in the ODM party's backyard ahead of the 2027 General Election. According to his itinerary, President Ruto will today hold a closed-door meeting with about 10,000 people drawn from Kisumu, Siaya, Homa Bay and Migori counties, a meeting that will also be attended by elected leaders from the region.
