State House Head of Special Projects and Programmes Dennis Itumbi has condemned violence witnessed during a UDA grassroots leaders’ meeting at Nembure Grounds in Embu County, where one person died and at least six vehicles were torched. Itumbi urged political leaders and their supporters to resolve differences through competing ideas rather than violence and destruction of property. Itumbi also called for political tolerance ahead of the 2027 elections.
