Yesterday’s Linda Mwananchi rally in Nairobi was a strong show of public defiance against President William Ruto Political analyst Fanyamambo Kinuthia says the large turnout demonstrated growing opposition to the Kenya Kwanza administration, with participants rejecting what he termed threats and intimidation. He argues the rally also showed the organisers’ ability to mobilise and communicate with younger generations, particularly Gen Z and millennials, ahead of the 2027 General Election.
