ODM Deputy Party Leader Simba Arati has told President William Ruto to keep UDA out of ODM strongholds, insisting that Nyanza remains an undisputed ODM zone. Speaking during Ruto’s ongoing development tour of the region, Arati maintained that ODM enjoys strong support in Nyanza and should be allowed to field candidates under the broadbased arrangment. His remarks come amid calls within ODM for political zoning in its strongholds despite the party’s broad-based partnership with UDA.
