STAKEHOLDERS URGED TO TACKLE TEENAGE PREGNANCIES - Charity

Poverty and peer pressure are among the factors contributing to rising teenage pregnancies in the country. Gender activist Hamisa Zaja says the cases can be reduced if all stakeholders, including parents, religious leaders and society, take responsibility. She says the problem should not be left to parents alone. The call comes as a recent report indicates that 640 teenage pregnancy cases are reported in the country daily.
